- Inspection of the site

Emergency Management Plan Development
- Conduct a survey of the property to identify the methods of evacuation
- Discussion with on-site persons to develop a site specific evacuation plan
- Compilation and supply of Emergency Management Plan in electronic format
- Access to on-line instruction/training system;

Emergency Evacuation Diagrams Development
- Conduct a survey of the site to identify the safest route of exit
- Develop site specific Evacuation Diagrams to comply with AS3745
- Supply of Evacuation Diagrams to common area in A3 laminated format
- Other formats to be at additional cost
Annual Review
- Inspection of the site
- Report on any additional fire equipment required by legislation or as a safety requirement
- Report upon any issues with the fire services within the building including access and fire hazards
- Review of the Emergency Management Plan and update as required to meet changed conditions
- Report upon any issues requiring rectification to enable yearly Fire Statement to be submitted

Submission of Annual Occupiers Statement (QLD Only)
- Compilation of supplied maintenance records

- Where QBM has not been appointed to run the drill
- Observe the Evacuation Coordinator conducting an evacuation exercise

THE LEGISLATION
Section 43 of the Work Health and Safety Regulations requires all PCBU’s (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) to ensure that an Emergency Plan is prepared for the workplace.
Emergency Plans are developed to AS 3745-2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.
Fines apply up to $18,000 and $90,000 for a Managing Entity
Queensland Variation:
Queensland also need to apply to their Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008.
For non commercial facilities such as purely residential Strata Schemes, These are called Fire and Evacuation Plans.
