Fire Safety Audit

  • Inspection of the site
  • Identify and list all fire equipment on site
  • Report on any additional fire equipment required by legislation or as a safety requirement
  • Report upon any issues with the fire services within the building including access and fire hazards
  • Report upon any issues requiring rectification to enable yearly Fire Statement to be submitted
  • Report upon maintenance and service requirements on all fire equipment

Emergency Management Plan Development

  • Conduct a survey of the property to identify the methods of evacuation
  • Discussion with on-site persons to develop a site specific evacuation plan
  • Compilation and supply of Emergency Management Plan in electronic format
  • Access to on-line instruction/training system;
  • First response evacuation instruction/training
  • Evacuation coordination instruction/training

Emergency Evacuation Diagrams Development

  • Conduct a survey of the site to identify the safest route of exit
  • Develop site specific Evacuation Diagrams to comply with AS3745
  • Supply of Evacuation Diagrams to common area in A3 laminated format
  • Other formats to be at additional cost

Annual Review

  • Inspection of the site
  • Report on any additional fire equipment required by legislation or as a safety requirement
  • Report upon any issues with the fire services within the building including access and fire hazards
  • Review of the Emergency Management Plan and update as required to meet changed conditions
  • Report upon any issues requiring rectification to enable yearly Fire Statement to be submitted
  • Review of the Evacuation Diagrams
  • Any changes to be at an additional cost

Submission of Annual Occupiers Statement (QLD Only)

  • Compilation of supplied maintenance records
  • Confirmation of maintenance requirements based upon supplied Statement of Fire Installations
  • Submission of Annual Fire Safety Statement to QFES

Yearly Evacuation Drill Co-ordination

  1. Where QBM has not been appointed to run the drill
    • Observe the Evacuation Coordinator conducting an evacuation exercise
    • Prepare a report and recommendations for the safe evacuation of the property
  1. Where QBM has been appointed to run the drill
    • Organise evacuation practice by sending letters to occupants of all units/tenancies
    • Conduct the evacuation exercise
    • Prepare a report and recommendations for the safe evacuation of the property
